Upcoming event: chat with scientists live in Antarctica

With a peak population of less than 50 people, the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) Palmer Station is the smallest of the three permanent research facilities operated by the U.S. Antarctic Program. Despite its size, the station is a critical contributor to science in the areas of biodiversity and the natural environment.

Join NSF Palmer Station Science Lead Dr. Natasja van Gestel on March 14, at 1:00 p.m. ET to learn about the research being conducted at this small but mighty station, and what it’s like to work and live there.

No need to register!
