Earlier this month, James McClintock, a marine biologist at UAB - The University of Alabama at Birmingham and a longtime OPP grantee, checked in with National Public Radio’s David Greene from NSF’s Palmer Station on the Antarctic Peninsula about the state of Adelie penguin populations and the retreat of local glaciers.
